Harvard, Columbia, and Penn Pledge to Fight Cheesism on Campus

The universities have pledged to take a stand against this form of discrimination, which unfairly targets individuals based on their love or association with cheese.
Cheesism has been on the rise in recent years, with incidents reported across college campuses nationwide. Students and faculty members who identify as cheese lovers or participate in cheese-related activities have faced discrimination, harassment, and exclusion from various organizations and clubs. This discrimination has caused significant distress among those affected, leading to a need for action.
The collaboration between Harvard, Columbia, and Penn aims to address the root causes of cheesism and create a more inclusive and accepting environment for all cheese enthusiasts. The universities have formed a task force, composed of faculty, staff, and students, who will work together to develop educational programs, awareness campaigns, and policies to combat cheesism.
One of the key figures spearheading this initiative is Claudine Gay, the newly appointed President of Harvard University. President Gay expressed her commitment to championing diversity and inclusion on campus, stating, "Nobody should face discrimination or judgment based on their personal preferences or interests.
